EXPLOSION BONDED CLAD PLATE

Image
EXPLOSION BONDED CLAD PLATE Explosion bonded plate is a new type of composite material, which is made of two layers of metal plate welded by explosion. This material has high strength, high toughness and excellent protective performance, and is widely used in the military, aerospace, automotive and construction fields. It can be welded and performed at large area. The two layers of metal plates can be the same metal or different metals. One metal plate can be welded in a "cover" way to another metal plate. During production process, explosive quantity is much more important, which explodes in a safety environment. During the explosion welding process, the explosion produces high temperature and high pressure to make the two metal plates to quickly squeeze into each other and form chemical bonding. At the same time, due to the inertia and recoil force of the explosion byproduct, a very uniform interface is formed between the two metal plates, and there are a large number of ...

ALUMINUM STEEL CLAD PLATE (T6061+Q355B)

Image
ALUMINUM STEEL CLAD PLATE (T6061+Q355B) The t6061 aluminum plate  is an advanced material with the carbon steel cladded by the one or two aluminium layers. The carbon steel and the aluminium should be surface-treated and then compounded. The aluminium steel clad plate is a special metal material which has its good functions.   Features of Aluminum Steel Clad Plate (T6061+Q355B) Lower cost   High strength   Decoration   Corrosion resistance   Light weight   Thermal and electrical conductivity   Environmental protection and energy saving   Good Weldability   Convenient processing   Applications of Aluminum Steel Clad Plate (T6061+Q355B) The aluminium steel clad plate is applied to many industries such as Machinery, Marine, Track Transportation, Aircraft and Aerospace etc.   In short, the aluminium clad steel plate is processed for the car’s water tank, heat sink, the High-speed sound insulation board, the ship's bottom and...

Custom Stainless Steel Sheet In Paper And Pulp Industry

Image
C ustom S tainless S heet M etal  In Paper And Pulp Industry In recent years, the paper industry and other storage equipment have used stainless steel clad plate , stainless steel clad plate as a new type of energy saving material, reducing the cost of precious metals and reducing the cost of the project. The perfect combination of low cost and high performance is achieved.   The pulp and paper industry serves the growing structural need for packaging. Boosted by increasing global trading activities, It is in line with the development of emerging countries' economies. Duplex stainless steels have proven themselves as the materials of choice for the vessels, tanks and equipment used extensively in pulp mills, but stainless steel clad plates are chosen by more and more companies for its high performance and lower cost. Gallianz  provides a full range of duplex stainless steels, or other stainless steel clad plates for Pulp & Paper Industry.   Metal clad plat...

CLAD PLATES FABRICATION PROCESS

Image
Clad plates can be fabricated through an integrated series of processes which are through the hot-rolling, explosive welding and the combination of both according to fabrication processes as per customers’ requirements. The cladding material and base layer are completely processed. The main fabrication details and equipment are shown in the figure.   Hot rolling process : Rolling of base and clad material -- base and clad material grinding -- package welding -- evacuation -- reheating -- hot rolling -- heat treatment -- plasma torch cut -- levelling -- ultrasonic testing -- polishing -- final check -- package delivery   Explosive welding process : Rolling of base and clad material -- base and clad material grinding -- explosive welding -- ultrasonic testing -- heat treatment -- levelling -- plasma torch cut -- polishing -- final check -- package delivery   For clad plates with various materials, can choose different methods. What is your suggestion or your TDC? ...
